Gift Tracker is a free, browser-based Christmas gift list and budget planner. Add the people you're buying for, set a budget for each, log gift ideas as you find them, and tick things off as they're bought, wrapped and given. Everything calculates itself — no formulas, no app to install, no sign up.

How it works
- Add recipients. Go to Recipients, add everyone on your list and give each a budget cap.
- Add gifts and ideas. Log what you plan to buy under Gifts. Saw something you're not sure about? Drop it in the Idea Bank and decide later.
- Shop and tick off. The Shopping List groups what's left by store. Mark gifts bought, wrapped and sent as you go — the dashboard updates itself.
- Back up. In Settings, download a backup now and then. When the season's over, archive it and start fresh next year.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to create an account?
No. There is no sign up or login. Open the page and start using it straight away.
Where is my gift list stored?
In your browser's local storage, on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server. Clearing browser data or using private mode will erase it, so download a backup from Settings now and then.
Can I use it on my phone and my laptop?
Yes. Download a backup on one device and use Restore backup on the other. It works in any modern browser and is laid out for phones too.
Is it only for Christmas?
No. Change the season name and date in Settings to use it for Hanukkah, birthdays or any gift-giving occasion.
Is it free?
Yes, completely. No ads, no premium tier, no limits on gifts or recipients.
